The ANC Women's League has noted some reports claiming that the league's national conference, schedule for 2-6 July 2008, has been postponed.
The national conference has not been postponed, and will proceed as planned.
The reports may have arisen because of news that the ANC Women's League provincial conference in the North West has had to be postponed.
Preparations for the national conference are at an advanced stage. The membership audit has been completed, and all branches in good standing have been allocated delegates. Women's League branches are currently in the process of electing their delegates and finalising their policy positions.
