ANC WOMEN'S LEAGUE STATEMENT ON NATIONAL GENERAL COUNCIL

The African National Congress Women's League will be having its National General Council (NGC) from 29 March to 1 April 2007. It will be held at Esselen Park, Ekurhuleni.

In attendance will be the President of the African National Congress, Comrade Thabo Mbeki, who will deliver a keynote address on 30 March 2007 at 09h00.

A closing address will be delivered by the President of the ANC Women's League, Comrade Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, on 1 April 2007 at 12h00.

Senior ANC leadership and dignitaries from government and other organisations will be attending.
