Programme for 18 September marches
Pretoria: Main event
ANCWL Treasurer General Comrade Bertha Gxowa will preside over an inter-Faith seminar at Alban’s Cathedral between 10h00 and 11h00. Soon after, NEC Member Nomvula Nkonyeni will lead a march to the Nigerian High Commission where President President Nosiviwe Maphisa-Nqakula will hand a memorandum and a petit ion to the Nigerian High Commissioner.
Cape Town
ANCWL Deputy President Mavivi Myakaya-Manzini will lead a march which will start at Kaizergracht, Darling Street. She will then hand over the memorandum to the Speaker of National Parliament
KZN (PMB)
ANCWL Secretary General Bathabile Dlamini will lead a march from Market Square to the Msunduzi Mayor where a memorandum will be delivered.
All of these marches will be attended by different religious groups and political parties which include IFP, NNP, MF, PAC and Azapo.
The ANCWL has already written a letter to President Thabo to request his intervention to the matter.
