CAPTION BACKGROUND= A teacher by profession, Mrs. Cisse has been a member of the Central Committee of the State Party of Guinea, and First Vice-President of the National Legislative Assembly since 1972. She has represented Guinea at a number of international gatherings and served as her country's ambassador to Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela. She has been Permanent Representative of Guinea to the UN since 1972. In November 1972 shed served as President of the Security Council and in 1973 as President of the Council's Committee on Sanctions Against Rhodesia. She was Chairman of the World Conference of the International Women's Year, held in Mexico in June 1975.
