ANC condemns killing of Father Sham

The African National Congress condemns the killing of Father Lionel Sham over the weekend.
There can be no excuse for such barbaric and senseless behaviour. This tragic event poses a challenge to all in society to work together to eradicate the scourge of violence and crime in our midst.
The ANC urges law enforcement agencies to work tirelessly to ensure the perpetrators face justice.
The ANC values the contribution made by Father Sham in the development of the moral fibre of our society.
The ANC extends its condolences to his family, congregants and friends.
