ANC statement on carl niehaus
13 February 2009
The ANC has noted media reports surrounding the personal financial matters of Carl Niehaus.
The ANC wishes to state emphatically that whatever his personal difficulties, Niehaus remains a loyal and valued cadre of our movement.
We will stand by him and assist him during this difficult period.
The ANC has agreed with Niehaus that he will step down as an ANC media liaison officer.
The ANC will find an alternative role for him in the organisation.
