ANC condemns media reports about ANC Deputy President

The ANC has noted recent media reports on personal matters relating to ANC Deputy President and President of the Republic Kgalema Motlanthe.
These reports violate the right of all citizens to have their privacy and dignity respected. The reports are unwarranted and unjustified.
The ANC stands by its Deputy President, and will continue to provide unwavering support as he fulfils the important responsibilities he has been given as President of the Republic.
The ANC will not be distracted from the crucial work that needs to be done to improve the lives of the people.
