ANC takes debate to Twitter community
17 April 2009
On Friday 17 April 2009, Jessie Duarte, ANC national spokesperson, engages with the local (and global) Twitter community in a live debate to talk about the ANC's thoughts on the 2009 Elections.
Twitter is a popular social media network with millions of users around the world that allows people to communicate with their "followers" via short messages of up to 140 characters.
People wishing to engage in the debate can follow Jessie at "http://twitter.com/ANC_Debate" (note capitalisation). The debate starts at 12h00 on Friday for an hour, and Twitter users that follow ANC_Debate will be able to post questions using the @ANC_Debate reply convention.
