North-West province local elections going ahead on Nov 1

North-West province announced on Thursday it would go ahead
with local government elections on November 1.

Local government spokesman Matlawe Erick said in a statement
the provincial co-ordinating committee had concluded the elections
could be held on November 1, the scheduled date.
