Agreement on all seats, wards except those of Greater
Johannesburg

The Gauteng cabinet on Monday reached agreement on the
allocation of seats and the delimitation of wards, SABC radio news
reported.

Gauteng local government election co-ordinator Enos Ngutshane
said the decision covers all areas in the province except Greater
Johannesburg.

The Greater Johannesburg Transitional Metropolitan Council has
prepared data and maps for the different scenarios in preparation
of the Special Electoral Court ruling on Thursday.

A ruling over how Greater Johannesburg should be demarcated is
expected by the end of the week.
