ANC delegates votes for Greater Jo'burg TMC candidates

More than 800 African National Congress members met in
Braamfontein, central Johannesburg, on Sunday to elect party
candidates for the Greater Johannesburg Transitional Metropolitan
Council.

ANC provincial treasurer Mohammed Dangor said about 300
canditates contested 24 positions on the TMC, including chairman
and mayor.

The election results were expected to be known on Monday,
Dangor added.
