ELECTIONS-ETVL NELSPRUIT July 20 Sapa Revision court to rule on Nelspruit voters' roll A revision court will next week address the issue of 500 duplications and 1800 late registrations on the voters' roll for the Nelspruit Transitional Local Council. Nelspruit voters' roll officer Eugene Neumeyer said the TLC would not remove any of the 500 duplications unless ordered by the court, African Eye News Service reported on Thursday. Similarly, the court would have to authorise the inclusion of 1800 late applicants. If the applicants were accepted, more than 82000 people would have registered for the elections in the greater Nelspruit area, giving the TLC a 75 percent registration rate. Neumeyer said although boundaries and wards had still not been finalised and would have to be ratified by the court, he did not believe demarcation would be a problem in the region.
