Together, we've won our freedom and dignity.

But our experience has shown that change doesn't come easily. We've ended a government that served a minority only, and formed one that works for all citizens. But the fight to bring change must continue, so that we can meet the basic needs of all South Africa's people.

We have brought electricity, water and other services to millions of people. Today 750 000 more families have a roof over their heads, on land that belongs to them. But much more work lies ahead. Together, we must step up the fight for a better life for all. And make change happen faster.
