Speaker`s appeal for discipline in the house welcome
The Office of the ANC Chief accepts and welcomes all the rulings given in today`s sitting of the National Assembly by both the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker on various unparliamentary incidences that took place in the House during last week`s debates. We commend ANC MP John Jeffery for his public withdrawal and apology regarding the pun he directed at DA`s Lindiwe Mazibuko.
Racism epidemic within DA ranks
The Office of the ANC Chief notes that the DA has quietly suspended its racist Eastern Cape councillor who hurled a barrage of racist invectives in an email. The DA councillor, Stanford Slabbert, made racially disparaging remarks about President Jacob Zuma, alleged that the ANC produced dumb idiots who wait for handouts, and that South Africans "spread the (HIV-Aids) disease more than anyone else in the world".

Alexandria ANC PCO donates rugby kit to school
The Parliamentary Constituency Office of the ANC in Alexandria has donated a rugby kit to Ukhanyo High School on Thursday 31st May 2012 at the school premises. The kit was presented by Brian Maloni who administers the activities of the Alexandria PCO.
Madiba fought for the liberation of all races
Mandela understood that racism and racially discriminatory practices degraded and dehumanised both the oppressed and the oppressors. Thus our national liberation struggle was waged for the liberation of all South Africans, both black and white. The struggle was not against white people. It was against the apartheid system.
