The ANC Women’s League (ANCWL) in KwaZulu-Natal has announced that the National Chairwoman of the IFP Women’s Brigade has joined the ANC.
Ms Lynette Lungelo Zwane has been introduced at the ANC Election Launch Rally at Umlazi today. The jam packed King Zwelithini stadium burst into ululation when Zwane declared that she had joined the ANC because she needed a new political home in which free debate on issues prevails.
The ANCWL proudly welcomes this well seasoned woman politician who is going to add enormous value in the continuing struggle for the women advancement. We are confident that our new Comrade Zwane will put her shoulder on the wheel in our ongoing determination of bettering the lives of the people in our province in particular and the country in general.
