The ANC Western Cape wishes to express our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of stalwart Govan Mbeki.
We join a long list of tributes, deeply saddened by the sudden loss of an unwavering revolutionary.
His commitment to the Struggle for Freedom has seen him spending endless times in prison. He was separated from his family. But it was not in vain.
Today his blood has nourished the tree of freedom.
Because of his contribution, today we are implementing the programme of transformation.
Long live the spirit of Oom Gov!
