KZN EDUCATION MINISTER TO FRANCE WHEN THERE IS CRISIS

Issued by: African National Congress

The ANC in KwaZulu Natal finds it inexcusable and an apex of irresponsibility for the KwaZulu Natal Premier, Dr Ben Ngubane, to allow the Provincial Minister for Education, Dr Vincent Zulu, to fly to France to watch the World Cup soccer when there is a crisis in education especially in KwaZulu Natal. It is either Dr Ngubane is irresponsible or he cannot control Dr Vincent Zulu. In both cases, Ngubane has failed the people of KwaZulu Natal, especially the young who are yearning to learn and study.

The ANC calls upon the Premier to summon Dr Vincent Zulu to come back and resolve the problems of education. Should he refuse to come back appropriate steps must be taken against him.
