In joining our national leadership and our people from all walks of life, the ANC Gauteng Province dips its black, green and gold banner in honour of Xhamela Tata Sisulu. We send our heartfelt condolences to Mama Sisulu and the entire family. We thank them for having provided our nation with such a selfless and dedicated leader.
We pay tribute to this giant and stalwart of our ongoing National Democratic Revolution (NDR). As a province we feel privileged to have been the host resident province to this modest and humble leader of our people.
In your passing away our province, country, continent and all progressive people around the world have lost a legend. You have taught us many valuable organisational lessons such as unity in action, revolutionary discipline & patience and collective style of leadership.
We call on all our people in Gauteng to pay tribute to Tata Sisulu by not giving up on this long road to transform South Africa into a united, non racial, non sexist, democratic and prosperous country. Let them honour this giant in whatever way they can and by attending all memorial services and the funeral in large numbers.
